My first time ever working in 3D!! What do you think?!!!?
I just got the program yesterday evening (I'm using blender -- an awesome FREE program! Blender was actually used to do the animation in parts of Spiderman 2!), and here's my first two models (just finished them like 30 minutes ago).
They really didn't take much time, either. What took the most time, was sitting through the video tutorials, learning the interface.
I'm a complete n00b at lighting, textures, and pretty much everything that you do in 3D, so I'm sure I can get better as I learn more...
Anyway, here they are:

Hate to be the wet blanket. This is exactly the kind of stuff that everyone does when they first get a modelling package. But well done for making a start.
The interesting stuff starts further on, when you get good enough to actually create something specific to you rather than just the trying the functions of the program.
You might want to get a demo version of Z-Brush and try that too. It 'the next big thing' in 3D modelling.
