There are several type of boards available for the game of cribbage. There are also tons of uniquely shaped cribbage boards for example there are some in the shape of a Eiffel tower, NASCAR race tracks, trains, etc.
Almost anything you could imagine can be made into a cribbage board. This is already combines card and board game in one, so why not include your favorite hobby a well. There are several stores that carry a line of vintage boards that are beautiful wood boards, most of which come in a finely crafted wooden cribbage box lined with green felt. You should also keep in mind the cribbage boxes you would like to store your cribbage boards in. They too can be a beautiful part of your set and are also available in a variety of styles. For a more simpler board you might go with a walnut stained Cribbage box, but the possibilities are endless. Although there are many different types of cribbage boards available, there is one thing they have in common. And that is no matter what the board looks like it has to stay true to the traditional rules of the game. So it's all about the board that fits your style.
