Those familiar with the fantasy game of Warhammer know perfectly well that it deals with combat situations between different armies. These fictional battles take place in the 41st millennium. The miniature figures and scenery associated with the warhammer game is set at 1:65 scales. Among the various items located in these online stores are the Warhammer Fortress walls and gateway. You can also find an abundance of trees and hedges to help decorate your miniature battle fields.
Many fans go so far in setting up their scenery that to look at one of the playing fields you would think you were actually viewing a real watchtower or perhaps a chapel within a town,. The detail of these fortified manors and buildings are simply so realistic it makes one wish they could be there in person.
This is one of those games which forever is being expanded and improved upon. As an example, one change gave army lists associated with the Space Marines while another of the more popular expansions was the introduction of Horus Heresy and the chaotic powers found in the two volume set of books entitled Realm of Chaos. Of course for those fans who try to base their role playing upon realism these changes mean that they must also purchase and install additional trees and hedges as well as various other scenery. Such additions like the citadel woods which is a forest which covers portions of the Warhammer world adds greatly to any of the tabletop terrain collections. With it you can quickly create a cluster of realistic looking trees to help your armies defend their positions. These Citadel Gaming Hills can be placed essentially anywhere upon your tabletop to give height advantages to your troops.
One of the beauties of this game is in fact the scenery that is displayed when it is played. One of the more impressive one happens to be the Warhammer Arcane Ruins. These scenery elements reveal Warhammer's ancient roots. The displayed pieces clearly show how many structures have been built over the various millennia with some possessing evil intent. Even though with all the battles that continually take place in this fictional world these monuments seem to survived all passage of time and in current game play appear as mysterious ruins with long forgotten purposes.
If nothing else about the game is impressive it certainly has to be the scenery and the fine detail provided to it.
