what is the name of that silent film with the traffic jam?
There was a commercial I saw on TV a while back, I think it was for an insurance company, but it involved a bunch of people driving cars and getting in wrecks and getting lost because the traffic lights kept changing colors. I also remember that this same scene was in the 1980 BBC documentary Hollywood and the film was made between 1923 and 1927. Any help would be appreciated.
Well, the Internet Movie Database has a page of films featured in "Hollywood", but I'm not able to pick out which film this scene appeared in.
"Hot Water" (1924), a Harold Lloyd film, jumps out at me because it contains a traffic jam scene, but I haven't seen it in a while so I can't say for sure that it's the one.
