The World of Warcraft priest is a very powerful class chosen by many gamers, but fully understood by few. I'm going to teach you the right way to find the PvP priest build that will dominate your competition. Whether you prefer solo battles or team matches, you will benefit from this article.
WoWWikki as you know is the haven for Warcraft knowledge. But when looking for builds I don't bother searching there for them, because everyone else does. How can you get ahead of the competition like that? I'm going to provide you with a little known website that provides great information on anything Warcraft. But as for right now let's get started with the priest builds!
I call this PvP priest build The Judgment. Holy damage is not affected by any resistances; therefore I based this build off of dealing a severe amount of holy damage. In the discipline tree place unbreakable will 5, silent resolve 3, improved inner fire 2, martyrdom 2, inner focus, meditation 3, and improved mana burn 2. In the holy tree grab healing focus 2, improved renew 3, holy specialization 5, divine fury 5, desperate prayer, holy reach 2, searing light 2, spiritual guidance 5, and surge of light 2/2. I ignored the entire shadow tree in this build. In addition to being able to quickly deal large amounts of holy damage, the priest also retains their ability to heal, making them useful as a healer and DPS. By the way, this build requires level 54.
This next build is another great option that gets to the end of the discipline tree for penance. It features strong survivability and Strong buffs including Pain Suppression and Power Infusion. This build requires level 63, and can be changed with ease to fit your style. In the discipline tree place unbreakable will 5, silent resolve 3, improved inner fire 2, improved power word fortitude 2, martyrdom 2, inner focus, meditation 3, improved mana burn 2, mental strength 5, divine spirit, improved divine spirit 2, focused power 2, focused will 3, power infusion, reflective shield 3, renewed hope 2, rapture 1/5, aspiration 2, divine aegis 3, borrowed time 5, and of coarse the mighty penance. In the holy tree I placed 3 improved renew, and nothing in the shadow tree once again.
The priest can be quite the offensive or defensive weapon. You must learn to browse around and find builds that you would like to try, and then add your own flavor to them. That's how to find the ultimate PvP priest build that works for you, as you'll be able to dictate any match.
