What is the best way to make RPG dice?
Hello!
Yes, I know you can get these at the store, or at ebay (cheaper there). But for some reason, I want to make my own dice. I downloaded some paper templates from the internet, but they ended up way to big (I might use them as decoration or something). Other sites suggest That I should make a paper mold and pour hot wax into it.
But basically, I want to make a nice solid dice, with household materials, with the CORRECT dimensions and everything. Know where I could get instructions or at least the right dimensions for paper dice?

well, I can't remember what the stuff is called yet but when I was younger I used to make breads. all you did was shape it and then firer it in the oven. they tune out great. they even have clear clay that you can mix into some color to make some cool design.

I wouldn't shape the dice like they say. what I would do is make a half of a sphere around both side of a die. then firer it.
then I would make a ball around the size you think will fit inside the molds. then remove the mold. from here you should be able to just touch up the seem were the molds came together. then add some numbers (if the mold didn't leave any good marks.) I would use a tooth pick.
then firer away. if the dice don't weigh enough just add some weights to it. like lead from fishing line into the center of the ball. it should help with it. but try to make sure to put it in the center or you will have yourself a trick dice... ^_^ (if you put the weight to close to the 1 on a d6 then the die would roll a 6 easier.)

almost forgot. to add color design. you could make some snake and twist them together softly, then cut into the middle to make a cube, roll into ball and there you go.
