Single Player Tabletop RPG's, Books?
I know that it sounds kind of weird, but are there any? I know there are books that have RPG elements and all that, but I was wondering, which are the best ones? Thanks.
Most 'tabletop' rpg's are played in groups.
E.g. To play a single player Dungeons and Dragons game you'll need at least two people, the Dungeon master (DM) and the player-character (PC).
For single player, you are better off with books.
As I teen I read/played two main series':
1) Fighting Fantasy - By Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone (and others)

There are over 50 books in the series, with some as continuous sequels.

Sadly, most are out of print. The original series ran from 1982 to 1995.
The 20th anniversary re-prints ran in 2002 till current, so you should be able to find them in good book stores.
The RPG elements in the game are really simple.
For most books you only have three skills, Skill, Stamina and Luck.
Dice rolls are used to determine the success of your actions and combat. (If you don't have any dice, the books have random dice rolls printed throughout it)
The books I enjoyed the most were,
1) Creature of Havoc - Where you start not knowing WHAT you are.

This series is simply epic. Im talking 20 books (and I just found out that more have been made since 1994 when I stopped reading it)
Like all RPG's you start out fairly weak but by the third story arc you have some epic skills - and you can even get epic equipment ('Sommarsvärd' hell yeah!)
The great news is that 'Project Aon' have dedicated their time to transfer the books online and you can play them online or even download them.
