I have to make a game in Visual Basic for assignment, it has to be a learning game, Any Ideas??
I am intended to produce a series of learning materials designed to teach basic welsh to adults. the game must have an introductory splash screen giving the title of the game, name of the author etc... The player must be given clear instructions etc ...
Its basically a colour coded learning game in which new words link with new colours somehow ... any sensible ideas would be much appreciated...

Splash screen is easy enough. There is a default splash screen available when you make a new form.
As for the color thing, you're not clear on what you mean by 'new word', but any control with a background color will work for linking color.
Suppose you have a textbox to type in the word and an empty label next to it.
You check the textbox and if it's a new word, you change the background color of the label. Or maybe change the background color of the whole form.
