World of Warcraft (WoW) is the world's most popular MMORPG, with millions of players competing on hundreds of servers. Creating your WoW Character
Every journey started with a first step and for you it is 'creating a character'. Since it is just clicking a bunch of buttons, there is nothing complicated about it. These first few WoW tips for beginners are pretty basic:
1. Choosing race; there are 12 races in WoW, each with different stats and class selection. Alliance: Human, Dwarf, Night Elf, Gnome, Draenei, and Worgen. Horde: Orc, Forsaken, Tauren, Troll, Blood Elf, and Goblin.
2. Choosing class; there are 10 classes in WoW and not all races can select them: Death Knight, Druid, Hunter, Mage, Paladin, Priest, Rogue, Warlock, Shaman, and Warrior.

Unless you have experience in other MMORPG in keeping your 'thin' character alive, I suggest you pick more 'thick' class; otherwise, it will be endless frustration watching your character die again and again. Example of class that have higher survival rate: Warrior, Paladin, or Hunter.
2. If you are confused about which race to begin with, Human is a balance choice (20 on all stats). For Horde faction, just choose Orc or Tauren for thicker life.

Your selections will decide the future role of your character; a paladin doesn't always have to charge monsters and a priest doesn't always have to be a full time healer. The answer is: Questing! One unique feature in WoW is quests are not only available for certain level or only at some events. In fact, there are THOUSANDS of quests in WoW that available no matter where or at what level you are that promise all types of rewards: gold, items, experience, gears, or reputation.
Conclusion: if you are patient enough to test quest after quest, eventually you can find a series of quests that fulfill these criteria:
1. It has to offer the most valuable rewards, be it items or experiences. This is another crucial WoW tips for beginners.
2. It mustn't waste your time by make you running around everywhere picking items or finding NPC.
3. If possible, you must take some quests at once, turn in some quests at once, grab a couple of items or meet some NPC in one go by designing the best path. Efficiency is the key here.
4. You can't fighting stronger monster in your plain cloth and equipped with your rusty sword; a well designed quest series also put this into consideration by taking the quests with gear rewards, thus you'll always equipped by gears that match your level.
5. Running around on foot is not an option if you aim to be effective, so make sure the quest series allow you to have enough gold to fund your first mount at level 20
