Can I convert Elves to Chaos in Warhammer?
Is it possible to convert Elves into "Chaos Elves" or any other race into chaos?
(warhammer fantasy not 40k)
You can if your conversion skills are up to par.
Be sure to use lots (and I mean LOTS) of mutations and spikes and chaos icons to represent their chaos corruptions. The more gore the better. Be sure to grab the Warriors of Chaos army book and arm your troops with the proper equipment if you want to run them as warriors of chaos. Also, paint the units with the proper colours of their chaos gods corrupting them (red and brass for khorne, pinks and purples for slaneesh, etc. etc.) Converting elf heroes with Chaos heroes could turn out to be an interesting conversion. I'm sure you can find some logs on the internet of several converted armies tainted by Chaos.
All in all, as long as you're troops are modeled with the proper equipment (which would be the most important part of the converting) and look like they are tainted, you shouldn't have a problem converting and fielding an elf army as Chaos elves.
