What should I get if I'm new to Dungeons and Dragons? Where do I get the character sheets?
I might be getting Revised Dungeon Master's Guide: Dungeons & Dragons Core Rulebook to start off playing.
But, I imagine the books don't come with spell lists/character sheets. Where would I get those in Canada? Would a local hobby shop have them or would they have to be online on ebay or something?

Any easy way to play? I see my friends play and it looks good but they DLed PDF versions but thats alot of ink.

Are you talking about the Dungeon Masters Guide for 3.5? or the original Revised Dungeons master Guide for AD&D?
I'm going to go off the assumption that your talking about 3.5 D&D.
As to Character Sheets, Wizards of the Coast actually have Downloadable Character Sheets from their website. There are generic ones and some of them are specific to individual classes.
There are also MANY diffrent character Sheets that you can download online for free made by fans. Just type in "3.x Character Sheet" or "3.5 D&D character Sheet" etc in a search engine and you should come up with quite a few.
Another way is to spend some time in a program like Excel and make your own. I've been tweeking one for about 3 years now and its now in its 5th evolution but it now auto calculates almost everything for me and it pretty well set up (at least for me and my group)
But we use Laptops for our character sheets so we actually never print out anything. If you have a laptop that is a highly recommended way to play IMO
If your wanting pregenerated Character Sheets and Spells lists try some of the D&D splat books. At the end of every prestige class there are pregenerated characters that come complete with equipment and spell lists. If nothing else it would be a good starting point to build from there for someone new to the game.
But honestly dont spend money for character sheets, they are free from so many diffrent sources that all it takes it paper and ink and your set.
Also for a good look on the basic rules you can go to www.d20srd.org for all of the open license rules (the Players Handbook, Dungeon Masters Guide, Monster Manual, Unearthed Arcana, Epic level handbook, and Expanded Psionic Handbook) And best of all its free.
Its not a complete listing (as some things aren't open license) but it will give you a basic run down of everything and will show you how the system works
