Who else is thinking about using a phone detective service? If you are anything like me, you probably VALUE your privacy, and find it a bit disquieting when you get calls that you can't "trace". I don't mean that in a sneaky way either... if I get a call that I don't recognize on my cell, and they DON'T leave a message, it can bother me for hours trying to figure out who it was, just because I'm a pretty private person and don't like my cell number floating around out there!
But can you REALLY figure out who it is that's calling you by using reverse phone directory services?
Absolutely. It's actually a pretty simple process... and all one needs to do is typically input a number into their form or database, and if the number is registered, you've got ALL the information associated with that number at your fingertips!
What about ordinary people who are simply trying to trace old friends... or even some extra info on a date, or ex boyfriend or girlfriend?
The truth? This represents more than one third of all people who use these services. Because this information is NOT available by law in your "regular" yellow pages or phone book, but IS (by law) available through these secondary services that focus on cell phone identification, ordinary people like you and I get INSTANT access to a veritable wealth of information all for simply WANTING it!
Okay... but is all of this legal?
The amazing thing is YES! Reverse phone detective services are completely legal, and are actually mandated by laws that govern "freedom" of information. Interestingly, while many people use these services to "snoop"... they are considered kosher, and fair game for any of us who want to track, trace and locate just about anyone who is calling US... or who we are interested to call ourselves!
