How does the wii Dance Mat work?
I purchased a new wii compatibe dance mat on Ebay and new wii games "Just Dance" and "Just Dance 2".
The games work alright just using the remote without the mat.
I have plugged the mat into all the wii ports to try, but nothing happens. It doesn't look like it needs batteries as there is no cover to take off.
I'm not even sure what is supposed to happen with the mat - is it supposed to light up?
Maybe it is for other dance games?
Does anybody know?

I love my dance games on wii! The dance oct isn't for just dance games. It's for dance dance revolution games. It plugs into the game cube part on top of the wii. Go on ebay, type in ddr wii and the games for it will come up
