Most of the kids nowadays are into electronic games or e-games. Trapped in the virtual world of computer games whether if it is online or simply through consoles. Don't you think it is time for kids to go out and play physical games? There are many benefits that they can get from doing so.
Kids today should go out more often than what they are doing right now. Being under the sun can be very healthy for everyone, especially for kids. Keeping them and letting them play outside is the best thing to do. Although there will always be the kid that is not as athletic as everybody else. This is why he/she should play a game that suits his/her capabilities. There are a lot of choice right now to play outdoors. One of them is the bean bag toss or the corn hole game.
Bean bag toss is a game that takes place in the lawn, although you can also play it indoors, but it is best played outdoors since it may cause some trouble or hit something valuable indoors. In relation to that, it is better since the kids will be spending some time under the sun, making them sweat every once in a while. Although it makes them sweat, it is not a rigorous activity that kids of all ages can play, boy or girl.
The game is played simply by tossing a small bean bag in a board to bounce it to the other board or your opponent's board. There are various terms being used for this game, but the basics are to place the bean bags into the hole of the opponent's board. By doing so, you claim three points and one point for hitting the board alone. Each turn gives you a chance to throw four bean bags. After your turn, the opponent does the same thing. All the points counted will be summed until the first person gets 21 points and will be declared the winner.
Although the idea of the game is for the kids, it is also good for those who are already old or in family activities and recreation, where everyone gathers for a celebration or an event that everyone can join. The game that you are going to play will only require a small portion of your athletic capabilities. This will make it sure that the game is being played fairly even though if your kid's opponents are much older than them.
In some cases, people play this seriously and consider it as a sport. This sport is being played for an annual tournament in Ohio's Congressional District. This is something to look forward to if you are becoming good at this sport, although some people would consider it as a recreational sport, it is still competitive enough to make people become more interested into this sport that has been running longer than the modern physical sports today.
It is always nice to see ourselves and our kids play outside so that they will have a means of exercising activities like the bean bag toss instead of locking their doors and play e-games that will only make them unhealthy and uncoordinated.
