What is a better game, the original Carcassonne or Carcassonne hunters and gatherers?
I've played carcassonne hunter and gatherers, but I've never played the original game with towns and roads. I know the original has a lot of expansions, too. Both games are the same idea too right? What is a better buy?
As a sales representative for Rio Grande Games and as an instructor, I can tell you from experience that Hunters & Gatherers is the easiest version of Carcassonne to teach because it has the fewest rules and restrictions. H&G has no expansions. However, anyone who is familiar with any version of Carcassonne will be confortable with any variation. Enjoy the game!
